Learning to Write Letters and Read with Auntie Nats

Learning to Write Letters and Read with Auntie Nats

Auntie Nats spends her days in the classroom working with children in a multi-grade setting for more than two decades. This affords her the opportunity to see the need learners encounter and create the resources needed to create ease in the learning space.

The pandemic has done a great deal to change the learning landscape. Auntie Nats engaged students from divergent backgrounds, readiness levels and countries and understands the needs of the children at this time.

This book had not specified an age group since any one with the need can use it without feeling labelled in any way.
Learning to Write Letters and Read with Auntie Nats contains one hundred and thirty pages to help the learn develop early writing and literacy skills in addition to boosting of language development as the learner is engaged in associating letters to the pictures, read vowel-consonant blends, one vowel words, sight words and sentences.

The font size of the letters is smaller than the font size used in Learning to Write Capital and Common Letters with Auntie Nats and is intended to be used in term 2 or 3 when much development would have taken place in literacy and the fine motor skills. Arrows are included to guide the learner and caregivers as letter formations are learnt and taught. What a gem this book is! Every parent of kindergarten age children or those who are experiencing challenges in literacy and letter formation should have a copy of this book.
