Sacred Reflections: Navigating the Depths of Bibliology and Divine Connection with Auntie Nats

Friday Bible Study sessions have been dedicated to exploring Bibliology, the study of the Bible. Two crucial questions that I would encourage you to ask yourself are as follows: Is the Bible worth studying? Is this the right Bible?

Often, we may find ourselves inclined to offer a quick affirmative response to these questions, perhaps influenced by what we perceive the listener wants to hear, even if we harbor uncertainties within ourselves. However, it's essential to approach these inquiries with an open mind and delve deeper into our own convictions.

Reflecting on the first question, I've come to understand that our response is deeply intertwined with our perception or view of God. If we view God as merely a product of human imagination, we may struggle to see the value in investing time and effort into studying the Bible. It's crucial to cultivate a perspective of God that transcends our limited understanding and draws us to find joy in exploring His Word.

For those who perceive God as loving and deeply concerned for humanity, the significance of studying the Bible becomes evident. Recognizing God's desire for a relationship with us, exemplified in John 3:16, where He sacrificially offers His Son for our redemption, ignites a profound longing within us to know Him more intimately.

Developing a relationship with God requires engaging with His Word, which serves as a personal message of love and guidance to humanity. Each passage becomes a pathway to encounter the heart of God and align our lives with His will.

I sincerely hope that you, too, are drawn to the study of God's Word by a deep-seated belief in His love and a desire to know Him more intimately. May your journey through Scripture testify to the transformative power and profound worth of His Word.
